Every first Sunday of the month we dance in the beautiful Waagh, in the center of Nijmegen. In this November edition we will have awesome live music by The Swing Rhythm Club!

Based in Utrecht, Netherlands, and comprised of talented musicians from diverse corners of the globe, the Swing Rhythm Club embodies vintage glamour and infuses every performance with the infectious energy of Jazz and Swing music.

With roots deeply embedded in the golden era of Big Band Swing and the spirited rhythms of New Orleans Jazz, The Swing Rhythm Club’s repertoire spans the decades from the roaring 1920s to the Jitterbugging 1940s.

As usual we have a lindy taster for complete beginners at 15:00, and then at 16:00 dancing and live music will start!

Entrance for the lindy taster and social is free, but we ask for a donation so that we can continue to organise these events.

We dance at de Waagh every first Sunday of the month, so put it in your calenders!

PS: we got a request from the venue for people to not use any powder or chalk under their shoes, as this creates a large mess for them to clean up. If you are worried that your shoes are too slippy / not slippy enough, try bringing multiple shoe options instead! We also ask that you check whether your shoes are clean and are not too dusty.
