Slow Bal Lessons Nijmegen (NL)
Some call it the love baby of Balboa and slow jazz, others describe it as a dance on its own. What we do know for sure is that Slow Bal is a very playful and elegant dance that has a lovely relaxed flow to it. Danced with a partner in a close connection, it allows for subtle playfulness with rhythms, the music and with your partner!
ELEF Workshops
everybody leads, everybody follows.
The nice thing about this is that you learn both roles and therefore become a better dancer. You learn to understand what the other role needs and you can adapt accordingly. You also become more flexible in dancing.
On social media you can of course choose to only dance in your favorite role, but the great thing about mastering both roles is that you can dance with anyone! This also means you meet more people, which is also fun. And switching roles during a dance is also great fun, and we will certainly pay attention to that during the lessons.
Deirdre writes about leading: “What I like most about leading is that I can express my musicality much more. I can incorporate my own creativity into the dance more easily and more often.”
Joost writes about following: “What I love about following is that it brings me more into my body. It is relaxing because I really have to get out of my head and feel in my body what the leader is leading.”
